Ford Pro Adds CPO Lane for Commercial Vehicles
Ford Pro Advantage will launch Oct. 5 with certified pre-owned Class 1-7 trucks, vans, chassis cabs and cutaways through more than 700 Commercial Vehicle Centers.

Ford Moves CPO Into Work Trucks
Ford Pro is launching a certified pre-owned program built for commercial vehicles, extending the CPO model into trucks, vans, chassis cabs and cutaways that fleets actually buy.
The program, called Ford Pro Advantage, is scheduled to launch nationwide Oct. 5. Automotive Fleet reported that it will cover Class 1-7 commercial vehicles and run through Ford's network of more than 700 Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Centers.
Two Certification Tiers
Ford is splitting the program into two tracks. Gold Certified applies to Ford commercial vehicles from Transit vans through F-750 trucks. Those units get a 172-point inspection, a seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a five-year/80,000-mile vehicle warranty.
Blue Certified reaches beyond Ford-branded inventory. It covers Ford and non-Ford commercial vehicles up to nine years old with as many as 150,000 miles, backed by a 139-point inspection and a 90-day comprehensive warranty.
Both tiers include 24/7 commercial roadside assistance and a money-back guarantee, according to the Automotive Fleet report and Ford's own program page.
Why Fleets Will Watch It
Ford said its sourcing strategy will focus on high-demand commercial vehicles that are roughly two to three years old with 30,000 to 70,000 miles. That puts the program directly in the replacement window for small businesses and mixed vocational fleets trying to control acquisition cost without moving into unsupported used inventory.
The more interesting fleet angle is serviceability. Certified units can connect back into Ford Pro financing, maintenance, mobile service and dealer support, which gives operators a more formal used-vehicle channel when new-vehicle timing, capital budgets or upfit needs do not line up cleanly.
